WE MUST DO THAT TOO!

These words kept rotating in my head while I was sleeping “We must do that too” these words kept coming like a locomotive "We must do that too", "We must do that too", "We must do that too", fast and faster. I asked the Lord what is this? What are you saying? The Spirit of the Lord said, “When the church sees the world doing something, the church says, “We must do that too”. You see the way the world dress and you (the church) says, “We must do that too”; You hear the music they play and the church says, “We must do that too. Out of my mouth, my response was “Lord forgive us, have mercy on us, the Spirit of the Lord continued (as if not to have heard my cry for mercy), they have reality shows, and the church says, “We must do that too”. When the world says, We must redefine marriage and when life begins and ends - the church says, “We must do that too”. When the world protest, the church says, “We must do that too”. 

Blessed (happy) is the man that walketh (live, proceed, move) not in the counsel (advice, purpose) of the ungodly (hostile to God), nor standeth in the way (course of life, moral character) of sinners, nor sitteth (dwell, have one’s abode/habitation) in the seat (assembly, sitting company, situation) of the scornful (boastful, mocker) but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in his law doth he meditates day and night. Psalm 1: 1& 2 

Are the ways of the world so much better than the LORD’s that when we see them even walking in darkness we say, “We must do that too”. Our purpose and power are to overcome this darkness. Unfortunately, we have become accustomed to listen and obey the voice of the world for so long that we have failed to influence our communities toward righteousness.

Have we become blind to who we are called to be - influencers, the light of the world to draw men to God. We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people, that ye should show forth the praises of Him who hath called us out of darkness into His marvelous light. 1Peter 2:9. God said, “Holiness is still required”. Holiness is a manner of life and conducts pleasing unto God. The word “Still” means Past, Present, and Future. For God is the same yesterday, today, and forevermore. bottom line - pleasing God.

Let us be the light that dispels the darkness. The Spirit of the Lord says "you shall show the world the acts of God as they have never seen before. Through you, Church, they shall see My glory. Arise Church and show forth My glory! Many will be saved because of you. Arise Church and exalt My name Arise Church and show forth My praise -ARISE!"
